Scientific workshop spotlights role of corporate culture in post-pandemic economic recovery

In the morning of August 26th, the Institute of Culture and Development (the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics) and the Cultural Art Journal (the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) jointly held a scientific workshop about the role of corporate culture in post-pandemic economic recovery and development.
Assoc, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duy Bac, Deputy Party Secretary, Standing Vice President of Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Dr Trinh Thi Thuy, Vice Minister of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism co-chaired the workshop. Assoc, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duy Bac, Deputy Party Secretary, Standing Vice President of Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics made his opening speech The event saw the attendance of nearly 100 participants representing business associations and culture management officials. With 29 presentations, delegates discussed the impact of corporate culture on economic recovery when Vietnam enters the new normal period, lessons in creating a sustainable corporate culture and measures to make corporate culture a fulcrum of post-pandemic economic recovery. They also made some recommendations to fine-tune the mechanisms and policies for building a sustainable corporate culture. Speaking at the workshop, Dr Nguyen Toan Thang from the Institute of Culture and Development highlighted enterprises’ flexibility and adaptability to overcome difficulties and look for new opportunities during the pandemic. For his part, Dr Bui Hoai Son, a member of the National Assembly Committee on Culture and Education, stated that to better bring corporate culture into play, it is necessary to raise awareness of the whole society, especially business owners./.
