*The article "Building press units of the Academy for comprehensive development, meeting the requirements of new tasks" by Nguyen Xuan Thang. Abstract: In the atmosphere of the whole Party and people, we are actively implementing the Resolution of the 13th Party Congress, promoting socio-economic development, flexibly adapting, safe, and effective control. As a result of the Covid-19 epidemic, at the same time, in the atmosphere of the whole Academy system, the Academy is making efforts to implement the key tasks in 2022 in the spirit of "focus, responsibility, discipline, example, creativity". The Association of Journalists of the Academy organizes the first congress, term 2021-2025. The Journal of Political Theory respectfully publishes a speech by Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang, Politburo member, President of Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theory Council at the Congress. *The article "Building socialism in Vietnam from the perspective of international relations" by Pham Quang Minh, Nguyen Hong Hai. Abstract: The article analyzes the basis for directing and orienting Vietnam's foreign policy through the Party congresses from the beginning of the Doi Moi process to the present; clarifying foreign policy achievements through five angles: expanding bilateral diplomacy; integration and enhancement of multilateral diplomacy; attract foreign investment; protect territorial sovereignty; contribute to the maintenance of peace, stability and security in the region and the world. From there, some lessons have been drawn and some foreign affairs tasks proposed in the coming time in the spirit of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong's article. *The article "Building the Party on culture and morality" by Bui Dinh Phong. Abstract: The article analyzes and clarifies the requirements, tasks and solutions for Party building in terms of culture and ethics outlined by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong in his keynote address to the National Cultural Conference implementing the Resolution of the 13th Party Congress printed in the book "Some theoretical and practical issues on socialism and the path to socialism in Vietnam". *The article "Innovating the Party's leadership and ruling method - A cognitive development of the XIII Congress" by Nguyen Van Giang. Abstract: Renovating the Party's leadership and ruling methods is one of the tasks set out by the 13th Party Congress, with this task, for the first time, our Party uses the new concept of "leadership method" ruling party". This new concept comes from mature theoretical and practical problems. In order to renew the leadership and governance methods, it is necessary to clearly define the content of the Party's leadership and ruling methods and on that basis to have solutions to innovate the appropriate leadership and governance methods. * The article "Continuing to renew the promulgation and organization of implementation of the Party's resolution on leadership and power in new conditions" by Ngo Huy Tiep, Nguyen Van Hung. Abstract: One of the leading and ruling methods of our Party is by means of the Platform, strategies, resolutions and orientation of major undertakings and policies. In order to renovate the Party's leadership and rule, it is necessary to renew both the formulation and issuance of resolutions and the organization, implementation, inspection and supervision of the implementation of the Party's resolutions. The article proposes some specific measures to continue to innovate both of these stages. *The article "Promoting the construction and rectification of the Party and political system, preventing and repelling recession and expressing "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" by Vu Thanh Son. Abstract: On October 25, 2021, the 4th Conference of the Central Executive Committee, term XIII, issued the Conclusion No. 21-KL/TW on “stepping up the building and rectification of the Party and the political system; resolutely prevent, repel and strictly handle cadres and party members who have degraded in political ideology, morality, lifestyle and the expression of "self-evolution", "self-transformation". The content of the Conclusion has many new points, showing the Party's higher and more drastic political determination in building and reorganizing the clean and strong party, improving its leadership and ruling capacity in the new situation. This article aims to clarify some of the breakthroughs of the Conclusion and propose solutions for effective implementation in practice. *The article "Expanding educational opportunities and developing highly qualified human resources in Vietnam from the perspective of approaching systems theory" by Le Ngoc Hung. Abstract: Vietnam has made great achievements in expanding educational opportunities for all; As a result, the percentage of professional and technical training and the percentage with university degree or higher in the labor force both increase. However, Vietnamese education still faces the problem of inequality in educational opportunities and the slow growth rate of highly qualified human resources. According to the systems theory approach, the solution is to continue to carry out the tasks of radically and comprehensively renewing education and training, including the policy of education universalization, the policy of building a learning society. and develop lifelong learning capacity for all. *The article "Talking about promoting religious resources in Vietnam today" by Do Lan Hien. Abstract: At the 13th National Congress, our Party officially affirmed for the first time the promotion of religious resources. Discussing the promotion of "religious resources" refers to the social function of religion, contributing to the development of society and humanity. Religious participation in social work is encouraged by Governments, but how much participation is a matter of each country. How the resources of religion are exploited and promoted depends a lot on the context, objective conditions of society and the subjective will of the authorities. The article discusses the promotion of religious resources and the problems posed when exploiting and promoting religious resources in Vietnam today. *The article "Response to climate change - Perspectives of the world and Vietnam" by Dinh Xuan Ly. Abstract: Climate change is the biggest challenge facing the world, a direct threat to human life. Many international treaties on climate change have been signed. However, the current global political will to respond to climate change is "not enough", the world is facing a "climate disaster". Vietnam is one of the countries heavily affected by climate change. Vietnam's position considers addressing climate change as the highest priority in national development policy decisions, and actively cooperates with other countries to respond to global climate change. The article summarizes the international and Vietnamese perspectives in responding to climate change.
